I’m constantly seeing things around me that inspire an invitation design and I get antsy to get back to my desk to create it! I normally don’t show invitation designs ‘in the works,’ but even though it’s in the beginning stages, i just had to share the inspiration behind it.
This weekend we took a quick family trip down south to visit my sister in law. My mother in law and I go coo coo for home decor stores like Pottery Barn, so if we get a chance to visit their store, we jump right on it and drool around the store for hours. So it’s no surprise that I found inspiration in the least expected places, like Pottery Barn bedding! One of their latest sets is just stunning and inspired me to start this design.This vintage bird and floral pattern bedding is so so pretty.
It’s in the beginning stages, but oh the possibilities! i think I need to start sharing more of my spontaneous findings and how they become the beginning of gorgeous stationery designs. Do you have random places you find inspiration?
